The challenge

The dental insurance ecosystem was fragmented. Clinics, administrators, and insurers were trapped in disconnected tools, manual spreadsheets, and outdated systems. Every process, from benefit management to credential access, required redundant effort and constant human intervention. The goal was to design a single, modular platform capable of centralizing information, automating operations, and creating a seamless and reliable user experience.

The Solution

Through a research-driven and systems-oriented approach, we developed Unitas, a modular ecosystem built to scale and automate every layer of the dental insurance workflow.

PPO Core: Central engine connecting clinics, insurers, and admin teams in real time.

Solutions Platform: Scalable foundation that enables future integrations and automation.

Password Manager: Secure credential vault that reduces administrative friction.

EOB Extractor: AI-assisted tool that automatically decodes Explanation of Benefits files.

Unitas University: Learning hub that transforms onboarding and certification into a guided and intuitive process.

From a UX and UI perspective, we defined a visual language built on calm hierarchy, neutral tones, and a rational grid system.
Each interaction was designed to reduce cognitive load and guide the user through complexity.
The outcome was a functional prototype validated by real administrative users, setting a strong foundation for future iterations of the ecosystem.
